Sentence Pattern ini menggunakan transitive verb sehingga membutuhkan direct object sebagai penerima aksi dari kata kerja.

Contoh Sentence Pattern :

·         The Children play the game. (Anak-anak memainkan permainan tersebut.)

·         My  Father is washing his car. (Ayah saya sedang mencuci mobilnya.)

Rain is the primary source of fresh water for most areas of the world, providing suitable conditions for diverse ecosystems, as well as water for hydroelectric power plants and crop irrigation.
The phenomenon of rain is actually a water circle. The concept of the water cycle involves the sun heating the Earth’s surface water and causing the surface water to evaporate. The water vapor rises into the Earth’s atmosphere. The water in the atmosphere cools and condenses into liquid droplets. The droplets grow until they are heavy and fall to the earth as precipitation which can be in the form of rain or snow.
However, not all rain reaches the surface. Some evaporates while falling through dry air. This is called virga, a phenomenon which is often seen in hot, dry desert regions.

Example Determiner :

“a” pada “a novel” adalah Indefinite Article, karena saya belum pernah menyebutkan sebuah novel sebelumnya.

“the” pada “the novel” adalah Definite Artcile sebab saya sudah menyebutkan novel pada kalimat pertama.

Penggunaan “the” pada “the novel” pada kalimat kedua adalah mengkhususkan bahwa “novel yang dipinjam oleh Annie” adalah “novel yang saya beli kemarin”.

A determiner is a word, phrase  or affix that occurs together with a noun or noun please and serves to express the reference of that noun or noun phrase in the context. That is, a determiner may indicate whether the noun is referring to a definite or indefinite element of a class, to a closer or more distant element, to an element belonging to a specified person or thing, to a particular number or quantity.

The Articles in English are the definite article the and the indefinite articles a and an. The term article is also used loosely by some to include the determiner some. Use of the definite article implies that the speaker assumes the listener knows the identity of the noun'sreferent (because it is obvious, because it is common knowledge, or because it was mentioned in the same sentence or an earlier sentence). Use of an indefinite article implies that the speaker assumes the listener does not have to be told the identity of the referent. In some noun phrases no article is used.
